How It Works

This tool helps you determine the ideal shooting interval for a timelapse based on the total duration of the event and the desired clip length. Here's the math behind it:

We calculate the total number of frames by multiplying clip length in seconds by FPS. Then, the interval between photos is calculated by dividing the event duration in seconds by the total number of frames. Storage usage is based on the number of photos and image size

Total_frames = clip_length_seconds × fps
Interval = event_duration_seconds ÷ total_frames
Storage_usage = total_frames × image_size_per_photo
